I love to do the webpage editing. I need to find a few more options for the school district in the form of calendars, news feeds etc... so teachers can add to the website without much hassle. I use Wordpress, Joomla, google calendars need some more ideas.

New Macbook Pro
I just started using my new Macbook Pro. It is a great machine and the display is brilliant. I have yet to test it this machine to it's full potential. I need to get a copy of photoshop and test it to it's limit. I am still on dial up so the only thing I miss is my internet connection. But I am sharing it from an older machine until I get DSL or Cable.

Wiki and Blogs for Education
I recently went to a conference in south dakota called TIE which is a yearly technology workshop. They are starting to embrase the things our kids love to do at sites like bebo, myspace, facebook and other site. These are not new concepts it is just something the kids do now. They nolonger hang out at the arcade they hang out online and type message to each other. The real question is how do we get our teacher, staff, parents and administrator to embrace this way of communicating. I dont have the answer but I know that we can moderate our intranet and setup stuff like wordpress (multiuser) or built in apple server blog software.
I like the Joomla for content managment software with its variety of modules and components.
